how do I delete previous searches from the search bar. Everytime I put a
word in the search bar it shows previous searches. I've deleted history,
cookies etc.

Delete all the names in the right-hand pane for the following locations in
the registry

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5001
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5603
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5604
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5647
