Question Internet hangs up waiting on response from web page ?

I have built 4 computers in my home one for each member of my family. The one I built for my wife has internet issues where it gets hung up waiting for a response for the website. I do not have this issue with any of the other computers. All the computers are hard wired to router with eithernet cables. I have done a fresh install of Windows several times through this process. I have tried and replaced pretty much every component, Mother board, CPU, RAM, Power supply, I have even gone so far as to set it up on a table just to eliminate the possibility of some kind of short in the case. Same problem every time.

The internet comes up fine, then I'll search Amazon or hotels.com with no problem. Once I get to site it begins to load but not completely. At this point it will just sit there with the little window in the bottom left saying
"Waiting on Hotels.com" or whichever site I'm trying to open.

Downloads seem to work fine. Such as after a new Windows install. All updates com through fine. I get this with Edge and Chrome. I download Geforce Experience no problem and install and update no problem. I'm at the end of my rope. Can anyone help? Any help would be much appreciated.

Specs:
MB- ASRock Q170M vPro
CPU- Intel Core i7-6700
GPU- MSI GTX 1060 6GB
RAM- 4 x 4GB DDR4 SDRAM 2133
Network Card: Intel Ethernet Connection I219-LM
Driver: Intel LAN Driver version: 12.15.23.8
Verizon Fios 1000GB
Microsoft Windows 10 Home (x64) Build 19045.3155(22H2)

The second one you are getting a IPv6 address. I again would disable the IPv6 on your pc until you get this working. IPv6 in general provides no benefit.
That did the trick. I thought I had tried this earlier but I guess not. I want to thank you and everyone who has been helping me with this. This has been bugging me for months. I really appreciate the time you guys have given me. I don't understand why this problem happen on the build and through multiple installs of windows and multiple components and not on any of my other 3 builds. I'll just chalk this on up to gremlins. Much thanks again. And thanks to Toms Hardware for always being there for me and my goto for stuff like this. And this one finally got me to sign up...
try firefox

did you replace the lan cable?

did you try a different lan port of the router?

which motherboard was installed before?

is the latest lan driver installed

any 3rd party software for security installed? (antivirus/firewall,..)

uninstall all asrock "tuning" tools

BIOS of the motherboard is up to date?

Is the ethernet connection set to pivate and not public in windows?

If downloads work then it is not likely a simple hardware network issue. You can confirm this by leaving a ping run to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. If you see loss when it has issues you can try your router IP also. I doubt you see loss.

There are 2 common things that cause that issue but it does not explain why it is just that pc. I would first try to disable IPv6 in the nic settings. IPv6 can many times not perform as well as IPv4 and when you run a mix of ipv4 and ipv6 you can get somethings that work and others that do not.
Next I would change the DNS in the IPv4 setting to use 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. You can also over ride the DNS in many browsers so I would check that the feature is not being used.

Thanks for the response. This issue has been torturing me for a while. Yes I have tired Firefox. Yes on the Lan cable. I move this computer to the basement where my computer(with no issues) is and used that cable. Don't remember the other motherboard. I purched one, tried it and the problem remained so I sent it back. I downloaded the eithernet adaptor drivers from ASRock for the board. No third party security. I'm using the fresh install of window with updates, Chrome installed, and Geforce experience to update graphics drivers. Nothing else. This issue has persisted through multiple graphics cards. Unless the tuning tools are installed on the mother board I have not installed any ASRock software. I did update Bios. And the eithernet is set to Public.

Thanks for the reply. I tried both of your sugestions with no results. I have gone back to original settings. I also rest my router. I would like to add that some sites work fine such as any serch I do and YouTube work fine. My go to site which don't work are Amazon and Hotels.com. Don't know if that info helps or not.

You could try using
NSLOOKUP

You would try nslookup hotels.com and then try nslookup hotels.com 1.1.1.1 If both respond it doesn't tell you much you might get different IP addresses.
You could also ping the domain and see if it responds. In some cases it might not.

Unfortunately with the way virtual servers work the data centers might send ping packets to a different physical machine than web traffic so this too might not tell you much.

This almost has to be some strange web browser issue or maybe a content filter if you have that enabled on your pc or maybe the router.

And I will add the suggestion to take a closer look at what the system is doing or trying to do when the waiting occurs.

You can use Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) to do so.

Use all three tools but only one tool at a time.

Open Windows and, doing nothing else, open the tool... Just watch for a few minutes.

Then search as you described:

"The internet comes up fine, then I'll search Amazon or hotels.com with no problem. Once I get to site it begins to load but not completely. At this point it will just sit there with the little window in the bottom left saying
"Waiting on Hotels.com" or whichever site I'm trying to open."

Being sure to keep the tool window open. Watch for what changes just before or while "Waiting" happens.

Any changes that correspond with the appearance of the "waiting" window?

Process Explorer:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer

My thought is that something has slipped in and is trying to run, update, backup, or simply "phone home".

That something being triggered when Amazon, Hotels, or other affected websites are the target website.

Also look in Task Scheduler. Might be something there as well.

So I tried these 3 software programs. I was already aware of the Task Manager and nothing really jumped out at me before. As for the other 2 pretty much the same thing. Not really sure what I should be looking for.

Look for what changes when the "waiting" occurs.

A big increase in memory use for example, or some other process process launches. Or maybe stops.....

Objective being to discover what the problem computer is doing or trying to do, or even no longer doing when "waiting".

It may take some time and effort to get a sense of how to navigate the tools and understand what is being shown/monitored.

Since websites are involved take a look at network related activities per @bill001g 's suggestions.

Also look at a computer that does not "wait". Compare the systems, configurations, and on-going activities.

For example: print out "ipconfig" from your wife's computer and one of the other computers.

Go line by line looking for differences. There will be some differences but you may spot something unexpected or not as expected.

I would also look in the router's logs (if available and enabled). Any entries related to the problem computer at the times when "waiting" occurred?

= = = =

The next step, in my mind, is to also look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some error code, warning, or even an informational event just before or at the times the waiting problem happens.

= = = =

One more thought: Look in the hosts file. Any references to Amazon or Hotels?

Reference:

https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-hosts-file-guide/

No immediate need to change or edit. Just look. Likewise compare to the other computers.

So I tried nslookup Amazon.com on a computer without the problem and I get:

Server: amazon.com
Adressess: 205.251.242.103
52.94.236.248
54.239.28.85

DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Request to amazon.com times-out

On the computer with the problem I get:

Server: Unknown
Adress: 2600:4040:7124:f300: :1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: amazon.com
Adresses: 54.239.28.85
