Internet has been slow lately

Over the past 3 days my internet has been really slow even though my internet speed test results were around 50-80 download and 3-5 upload. I don't know if it could be my wireless adapter or what since I'm literally sitting like 2 feet from my router. The wireless adapter I have is http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-adapters/WNA3100.aspx

Hey !

1: Clean out your browser cache and cookies, after time when the cache and cookies all build up it can slow down your whole browser even though the download speed itself is fine.
2: Consider switching to an ethernet cable, if your router is right next to you just using an ethernet cable will just be more stable over all even though i doubt the adapter is the problem.

Get Wnetwatcher, someone uknown could be using your internet. Change your pass code just to be careful.
BTW what wireless router and network are you with? You can change your channel to see if it improves
