Internet home page corruption

My internet homepage keeps getting re-set to 'about:blank'

I've run some spy-ware software which identifies and removes the spy-ware
however, everytime I reboot my registry entry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE:SOFTWARE\Microsoft\internet explorer\main has been
overwritten again.

What can I do to find out what's causing this and to stop it ?
