Internet is fine, but downloads are not

So my internet speed is fine and dandy (over 150mbps on speedtest.net) and the pages are fine. But why are my download speeds 50 KBPS??!!

Download speed is dictated by the slowest device in the chain. Basically from the source, thru all the internet routing, to your pc which then stores the file on the selected drive.
For example, if the server only sends the file at 50kbps then that is all you will get even if you have Fios Gigabit service.

So what ISP do you have and where are you downloading from?

My ISP is optimum I think and I was downloading an update for this game called warframe via the launcher. But I’ve tried other download sources like epic games launcher or steam and I guess that’s a bit better. But still slower than the usual mbps I get from downloading stuff via Xbox for example
