internet modem question

If i had an internet modem without wifi or router, is it possible to still get radiation or maybe cancer if the modem is in my room all day long?
I'm very paranoid when it comes to cancer so please answer seriously.

Simple answer, nope. I wouldn't worry about it. You could get cancer from exposure to the Sun's rays as well. That doesn't stop you from walking outside, now does it?

most cable modem use 12v dc or less. there more em radition from the led screen and power supplys then there be from a cable modem. what nice about a cable modem is pick up some long good cable hard lines and good long ethernet cable and put it on a shelf away from you.
