Question Internet on computer slower on 5G than 2.4g, connection also drops off

I recently upgraded my 2014 Mac Mini from a HDD to SSD, and I then proceeded to install Windows on it. My issue is that in both MacOS (before windows was installed) and in Windows 10, the 5G wifi will start at normal speeds and then slow to a crawl (I'm talking just a couple mbps) and then disconnect. 2.4g speeds are normal.
I can't really find anything on the internet that matches this issue. When I did the repair, I did have to disconnect the wifi antenna, but then reconnected it. I don't know if that would have anything to do with it. I am very confused and would appreciate any help you could offer, thank you!

Might want to mention where you sourced the installer for Windows 10. Speaking of which, what version(not edition) of Windows 10 are you working with? Make and model of the SSD used for the drive upgrade? Out of curiosity, did you use BootCamp to install your copy of Windows 10?

Yes, bootcamp was used to install. My version is 10.0.19044, and edition is windows 10 pro, and the drive is a 2.5 inch crucial from this kit: https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Mac/Mac-mini-Unibody-SSD-Upgrade-Bundle/IF171-043?o=5.
