Internet on Custom PC

I am building a Gaming PC from scratch and what just came to my attention is internet access, it will have to be wireless as my router is in another room. I do not know if I need any hardware to do it, if I do I don't know which hardware to get or which hardware would fit in my PC.
I also don't know if or what software or programs etc I would need to get to access a wireless internet connection.

I forgot to mention that my PC Case is the Corsair 100R:

I couldn't find it on PCPartPicker. Will that wireless adapter work with the case to? And where will it fit on the motherboard?
Sorry if these are daft questions but I'm really not good with computers atm.
