Hello, I am new to posting on forums, and not very tech savvy, but here’s my question/problem:
I currently have a router that supports gigabit internet speeds. All the devices in my household are able to get upwards of 400mbps speed. My pc gets significantly lower speeds, around 200-300.
I decided to upgrade my WiFi card from an Intel Wireless AC-7265 to an ASUS AX200 160mhz WiFi card. From what I read, I expected much faster speeds but I am only getting about 30mbps higher than I do with my other card. The reason I upgraded to a WiFi 6 card is because I have 2 WiFi 6 extenders(orbi brand).
Similarly, when I connect through Ethernet I still get slower speeds than other computers I have connected through Ethernet and even some devices just connected wirelessly.
I have tried many solutions I’ve seen online but I am still getting significantly slower speeds on this one pc than all my other devices in my household.
I am using speedtest.net for comparison.
Let me know if you can help me out!
