In the past 2 weeks my internet connection on my pc has started 'stuttering'. It's not slow or anything, it just stutters - and only on that PC.
It's not noticeable when watching YouTube, but when playing some online games I can tell I get internet-related lag spikes. Using my phone's mobile data via USB tethering fixes the issue, but it's not an unlimited plan. The ping doesn't spike or anything during this time.
I use a powerline adapter and it was originally running through a powerboard with a surge protector, so I've swapped it to go straight in the wall but the issue still remains.
No other device is doing anything more internet-intensive than usual. Also, there are occasional hour-long periods where there are no lag spikes.
