So I just build a pc with the gigabyte g1 gaming mini itx mobo. Whenever I boot up my pc sometimes I get the no internet access sign. It usually connects after a couple of minutes. Also sometimes it connects right away. But in either case whenever I open up google chrome, I always get an error that the DNS server could not be accessed. This is starting to become very frustrating. It eventually stops and connects to the DNS server and my internet works. But it's frustrating that I have to wait 5 minutes after I boot up my pc for my internet to work. It gives me troubleshoot options of changing firewall settings or accessing DNS server settings or something like that. Maybe it's my norton antivirus settings? Alson I am hardwired in order to connect to internet. I don't know but can someone please help? Is there a quick fix? Please and Thanks guys.

Solution
Update lan drivers, I had a problem like this last year and upgrading my drivers fixed it.

Here are a few other suggestions: http://www.incrediblelab.com/fix-dns-probe-finished-no-internet-error-fixed/

I sometimes find I can't connect right away but that is because Bitdefender is slow to load at start up and there is a small period of time it blocks everything else from connecting until it wakes up.
