Hello guys, a few days ago i built my new pc and installed Windows 10. Internet was working fine until yesterday. It keeps giving me the message: " The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the Internet is broken." I got it once and restarted my pc and it worked again but now i'm without internet for about 24 hours. I tried flushing my dns and resetting my modem and router multiple times and reinstalling my ethernet driver but nothing worked. My motherboard is the MSI B350 PC Mate. Everything else like my phone has internet but my pc doesn't have internet, it is really bothering me. Thanks in advance

Well i have a wifi extender sockets as my room is a WIFI dead area and they works like this:
Router ->LAN cable -> Extender box A -> power cabling in walls -> Extender box B -> LAN cable -> Computer

Last week my pc wouldn't get an internet connection no matter what i switched off and on again and the boxes showed as connected and transferring internet. I simply just searched troubleshoot network in the Windows start search bar and the windows troubleshoot program found that the DHS connection (whatever that is) needed rebooting. After that my pc got its sweet internet back.

Try another known working Ethernet cable.

Check the physical connections along the entire router to new pc wiring path: patch panels, wall outlets, switches, powerline adapters. Look for signs of damage or a loose connection. Could be a faulty RJ45 plug or port, partially connected - just enough to work most of the time until suddenly stops working completely.

Connect another wired device in place of your new pc.

Determine if the problem is the connecting cable(s) or the new pc.

Check inside the new pc. Make sure that all cards, cables, jumpers, chips, etc. are fully in place and secure.

Ye thanks for the correction, the DHS was just a guess as it was a while ago that i fixed it.

But yes there was some issue with my DNS for some reason and Windows somehow resolved the issue after i asked it to troubleshoot and it found it.

Don't know if this is the same problem that this persons having.
