when I restart my computer I can connect fine to anything for about 3 minutes, but randomly I won't be able to load now new things, even if I'm already connected to something. Eg. I'm playing a game holding a connection and I want to look something up. It tells me I can't connect, even though I'm already connected to something else. I'm fairly certain it is my computer, as our wifi is fine.

Update your wireless driver first if possible.

Check your task manager. When you go to the network tab, does it show that there is network traffic when your computer seemingly isn't doing anything? If it is you probably have some malware and would need to go through the cleanup process.

If not you could have a faulty wireless adapter. If you had another wireless adapter or an Ethernet cable that you could connect straight to your router you could verify this.
