I am connected to the internet, but when I use my HP software and other software to send pics, it says to make sure I am connected to the internet and does not go through.

What HP software are you trying to use?
How is your network set up and with what type of internet connection?

Check wheather your HP software is not blocked by Windows FireWall.

Goto Control Panal > Security > Allow a program through Windows Firewall (Under Windows Firewall)
