Hi! Yesterday I wanted to refresh my PC (Win 10) because it was suddenly working very slowly and lagging. So I did that. It was already 95% done when it shut down because apparently I hadn't plugged my computer in.. After that I only had an option to wipe everything, including my documents, pictures, programs, and reinstall win 8.1, which came with this computer. Everything is fine, although now when logging in I have this blue screen which asks whether I want to log in, using win 8.1 or 10.. How do I get rid of it? I want it to log in to 8.1 instantly. Win 10 is not working anymore - it tells me that it needs to be repaired and I thought I repaired it by reinstalling 8.1.

Solution
sounds like the win 10 boot loader is still there.

do you want to use 8.1 or 10? how long were you using 10 as if more than 1 month you now have a win 10 licence and can't stay on 8.1

if you want to use win 10 you can dl it from here: win 10 media creation tool. Use that to create a win 10 dvd or usb (you could just upgrade using it but its better to fresh install)
now as you deleted everything last time, just do a clean install following this: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

AND do try to think to plug it in this time :)
