I tried to format the external hard drive, 2tb, ntfs-->fat32 because my TV "requires" it
I tried to do it in the terminal and powershell with the command: format /FS:FAT32 X:

A message like the one below will appear:
https://ibb.co/3BKVXGy

Now when I type in that New Label or X, a message appears:
https://ibb.co/yNCYRWk

The identifier of the external hard drive is the letter X. What should I write in it to format the hard drive?

thank you

T: Ilkka

P.S. For some reason I can't upload pictures directly here. Can anyone advise?

Volume name
Volume label for FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32 volume must be maximum 11 characters long and cannot contain the following characters: * ? / \ | , ; : + = < > [ ] "" .
not sure, but space might not be allowed as well

you cannot format 2TB drive to fat32, fat 32 in windows is limited to 32GB
you can format it to exFAT

btw that volume label is not drive letter, but disk name, that what you see in windows explorer/disk management under volume

You have to enter current volume label for drive X:
This is being asked for security reasons, to confirm, you understand what volume you're formatting.
You can see volume label for drive X: in File explorer.
If you have no volume label assigned to drive X: , then in File explorer it will be shown as "Local disk".
Then just press enter, when asked for current volume label.
