I've forwarded port before in the past, and now whenever I attempt to forward a port it simply tells me that I have an invalid IP address.

I just switched it over to a static IP address, 192.168.1.123.

Did you set or is there a limit on the number of devices allowed on the router?

Is that static IP inside the range of DHCP addresses that the router is allowed to assign? Should be outside the range.

Cannot see the submask address. Check that it matches your network.

Currently there is no limit on the number of devices that are allowed on the router.

The static IP is within the range I believe. I set it as what is visible (192.168.1.123), and as far as I'm aware the last three numbers need to be within the values of 0-255.

Submask address is 255.255.255.0, which I have verified to be correct.

The static IP address must be outside of the allowed range of DHCP addresses.

Go to the DHCP server settings: You can set the starting DHCP IP address and then the maximum number of users.

My router, for example, starts at 192.168.1.100 and I allow 12 DHCP devices.

Range of DHCP addresses available for device assignment are 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.111 inclusive. My static IP address devices are outside of that range.

Also look to see if your 192.168.1.123 IP addresses has been reserved for a specific MAC.
