I've been trying to install Windows 10 64 bit (I am currently on w10 32bit), and yes, my system supports it, but every time I try to boot from the usb I get "invalid partition table' and I can't do anything but to reboot the system. I have installed from this flash drive before (on this same system). It's an 8gb flash drive formatted to fat32, and I used Microsoft's media creation tool to put windows on it. My motherboard is a Gigabyte 965P-DQ6. The usb drive is detected by the motherboard (it doesn't show up in the bios settings, however, after the bios loading screen it show a text "usb storage device: /name of my usb + the size/". Thank you in advance.

ini the bios, there should be a section for boot options. In those options will be a setting to disable secure boot. Once that is done, you should see a setting labeled legacy or possibly csm mode. you want to enable that to convert the eufi bios into the more traditional bios used for systems prior to windows 8 and 10. This allows the csm/legacy style usb drive to boot when chosen in the boot options at startup.

The bios is the newest available for the mb, so I'm guessing it's the second. Sorry if I'm being stupid but how do I can get to uefi mode? I can't seem to find the setting
