Invalid Partition Table

Hey, I accidently deleted an important file and it refused to start so I went into the recovery console and used fixmbr which meant that even after I copied the file over it said "Invalid Partition Table".

How can I fix this without losing my data?

Please no messages saying I should have been smarter and backed up they dont help

typing Invalid Partition Table into google I found 93000 entries.
There seem to be many people that have had to deal with that before and will probably have the answer.
