Hello, when do i know when my inverter card is bad.what happens when the screen is dim?

if the inverter has failed you should still be able to see the windows desktop if you look very carefully

try connecting to an external monitor--if that works ok then its probably the inverter

or it could be a bad backlight

yes it could also be the ccl backlight has failed but thats a much rarer occurance than the inverter failing
