invisible friend

As a child I had one 'invisible friend', which I though was quite silly. But
apparently Sims2 lets you have invisible friends from work! Yep...the mayor
arrived at her palace and was accompanied by an invisible sim who showered,
ate and watched TV and interacted with the other Sims! Not only was the sim
invisible, but so was the icon in the top left of the screen when I was
being talked to. The invisible sim even had a name - Jane! I thought it
strange and annoying so I made a wall-cage for her until she was near death,
she then left...I think (I never actually SAW HER LEAVE) but she seems to
have disappeared...

Strange, it must be a bug. I haven't had any problems of this sort with any
of my other sim families. Although I must admit I was very surprised when my
toilet began to flush and TV turned on at 3am when everyone was asleep!

Did your sim arrive home from work in a helicopter? The same thing has
happened to me a few times, and it's always been when my sim came home
in the helicopter.

I'm wondering if the upcoming patch is going to fix this...

Yes she did arrive home in a helicopter - hence her being a mayor. Hopefully
the patch will fix this.
