Iomega 8x4x32x-$99 Worth it?

I know that Plextor is top dog (for many), but my pockets are not very deep. Am I wasting my time and money with buying the Iomega for $130-$30 rebate?

I own the iomega 8x4x32 and is just an average drive. I got a good deal on it and its worth $99 bucks. My issues is as follows:
on Nero it only burns at 4x even with 8x cdr's.
need latest version of CDRwin
Adaptech software bundled with the drive sucks. this software will not let you burn psx or anything protected.
or I can not figure it out!!!
So I would say buy it.
with the right software you can burn anything you want, but just not as fast using nero.
