[SOLVED] Iomega hard drive not recognized mac

Hello, my iomega, 1 tb, firewire drive stopped being recognized out of the blue yesterday. The machine is making strange noises when it runs, so it seems like a hardware problem... Any solutions?

Did you try it on another machine? If the drive is making noises it might have failed on you.
