Iomega not recognized by windows 8

I have new pc with windows 8. No longer recognizes me portable hard drive Iomega eGo. Any fix? Iomega sent me to HP to request an update to 3.0 drivers on PC but I'm in chat wait forever...

It looks like, if your drive isn't encrypted, the Win7 drivers should be able to work fine on Win8...so if you have it encrypted, you'll probably have to disable the encryption.

how can i disable the encryption?

You can disable using the control panel of iomega, setting > encryption, of course you must do it using other computer, one with windows 7. Our big problem (I'm facing this right now) is that when you do it the disk is going to be formacted and you're going to lose your files =~~~~
