Ip adress pasword

I have a Dsl router when i go to portforward my ip adress I say to give the username and password And i don't know it plese help

What is your router's model and company?

In most cases both are 'admin' or left blank.

Do your access the DSL Router fine (get into the menus and such) but when your 'port forwarding' then it asks for the username and password? Is this your personal Router, from your DSL Company, your roomates????
