As stated, just bought a Kodak K273 flash drive which is 2 way and works fine both on my phone and PC but does not show up when I plug it from either end via the respective adapter to my iPad. The said adapter work fine otherwise with other flash drives. The USB stick is formatted to exFat and my iPad is updated to recent software. Did a hard reset to no avail. Any helo would be greatly appreciated.

Does the flash drive work properly with any other device (PC, laptop, etc)? Just trying to be clear.

When you plug this device into the iPad, is there any indication of a device being connected?

Are you connecting directly to the iPad or are you using any sort of extension cable/adapter?

Apple doesn't like to play with anyone else. There are special iPad and iPhone usbs. Usually, they come with an app so that you can import files on or back up your photos.

I have one for my iPhone and iPad so that I can back up my photos and videos
