Hello.
I was wanting to update my iPad Mini to the latest ios (8.1.2) but I have ran into an issue. For some reason when I checked for new ios on my ipad, it just kept loading. So I connected it to itunes and tried to update it through that. I waited and waited, but just as it was about to restart and finish, it just stopped. I tried again, but the same thing happened. So I cleared my ipad through settings, and waited for it to finish. But for some reason it is now stuck on the Apple logo with an empty loading bar beneath it. HELP

P.S. Before updating my ios was 8.1 and Recovery Mode didn't help at all.

Solution
Have you tried entering DFU mode?
DFU mode will allow the ipad to bypass any OS related issues in order to perform a proper restore/reset.

Connect the ipad to the computer.
Turn off the ipad, and wait 5 minutes.
Press and hold the power button.
As soon as the apple logo appears, press and hold the home button (continue to hold the power button as well) until the device connects to the computer.

At no point should the ipad fully boot/show the "connect to intunes" image
If the ipad boots or shows the "connect to itunes" image, you are not in DFU mode

Once you are in DFU mode, attempt the restore/reset.
