[SOLVED] iPad screen broke and now won’t charge ?

iPad charge light turns on and off but won’t sustain. Tried cleaning port and tried different cables.
How much would it cost to fix and how might I transfer data?

With a broken screen and not charging. The cost would really depend on the model.

For the screen you're looking at $300 to $700 depending on the specific iPad model.

For the battery. You're looking at $100.

This is going through Apple though. Third parties might be cheaper but they may also use lower quality knockoff parts. With that much wrong with it. I'd just sell it for parts or repair only on eBay. Then buy a new iPad.
