Question iPhone is shown as "Unknown USB Device" (Device Descriptor Request Failed) on Win 10 ?

heres my device manager

i've tried reinstalling apple mobile support, changed power management , used USB Oblivion

wifi sync still works which i enabled around april or may with usb in itunes

Have you updated iTunes?

Does it show up in iTunes?

Do you launch iTunes before trying to access the iPhone as storage?

Are you getting prompts on your phone to trust the computer?

yes

wifi sync only, when ejected then plug in the phone it doesnt show up

edit: wifi sync not working anymore after reinstalling itunes

edit 2: i think the issue is the phone since it also doesn't work on another pc, but that pc works with a different iphone.

should mention that my phone doesn't charge with usb from pc either.

The only other things I can think of at the moment.

• Blow put lightning connector with canned air.
• Disable USB Restricted Mode (although that should only turn on when locked an hour)
• Try an official Apple cable
• Factory reset iPhone. To see if it’ll connect in a vanilla state. Obviously have a full iCloud backup first. To restore from after your test.
• Try connecting iPhone to a USB accessory. Such as a flash drive.

Is there a required driver that needs to be installed on the pc?
Google might find one.
