Ipod Dongle Work?

Has anyone tried a "dongle on an IPod? Does it work? My touch fried while I was pressure washing the deck. I have an Ipod Nano 3rd gen and an Ipod Classic 5-6 gen. Both have 30 pin connectors. It looks like a pretty inexpensive way to go. I only use while I mow. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Neither of my other Ipods are Bluetooth ready. I just need them to connect to my Bluetooth ear buds. Yeah, the Ipod touch is fried.
