I have a PS4 Pro and a choice of monitor between an AOC AG271QG 2560 x 1440 (1440p) IPS panel, or a BenQ XL2720 1920 x 1080 (1080p) TN panel. I understand I pretty much have a choice between the blurriness and detail loss of the AOC due to being 1440p native resolution, and the color inaccuracy of the BenQ @ 1080p thanks to being a TN panel. I can't assess the difference in image quality because I've only run the PS4 on the 1440p monitor, so I don't know what it 'should' look like.
Can anyone offer any advice on which monitor might be the better compromise? I know I'm asking something that's rather subjective, but everything I know about this tech is written in this question, so I hope someone with knowledge or experience might be able to steer me in the direction of the best quality tradeoff.
