Hello, I recently just purchased a GTX 970 (gigabyte g1) and wanted to upgrade my monitor to at least a 27" with 1440P for around $550 or less.

So can anyone guide me to the right monitor for me? I don't photo edit and I only play games. I want the best picture I can get but I am afraid that slow response times might be noticeable but I am not sure if they are actually a factor or not. I am not a professional gamer but I do like to play BF games sometimes.

Or if you can recommend me another monitor that is also good I am interested. I am also very interested in ASUS PB287Q. Its a 4K monitor but a TN panel that's 10 bits, so it can make 1.07 billion colors, better than a standard IPS monitor, correct? The viewing angles on this monitor will not be as good but I don't care about that.

I am looking for a monitor that gives me the best picture possible, the best colors possible that's around a 27" inch screen. So I am thinking A good IPS at 1440p or maybe something like this 4K monitor that I don't really understand too much about. Please help. Thanks.

I have no idea how anyone missed or have not answered this easy question, sorry for such a long delay, just found the thread now :)

If you want the best gaming experience ever, the Asus Swift is for you although it is $800.

But an alternate option for the things you want is this BenQ 1440p IPS panel, but it is only 60Hz, so if that's not good, I'll try to find another one, it is $450.

But if you're a professional gamer, I'm not sure if this would be nice for you.
