Can i have a defintion of what an IPS monitor is in simple terms thats easy to understand?

Physically its just another sort of LED screen. But it gives better colors on one hand but has a slower response time than normal LED (TN) screens.

Graphic artists and film producers love them. Not so much for hardcore gamers.
