just bought ASUS VS239HR IPS 23 inch .. very good monitor in general , but when i turn it to a black background i see the edges of the screen is not totally black, its kindda "Yellowish" .. and when i move up/down, right/left the light bleeding is more noticeable ..its not very much annoying to me when watching movies or playing games, but i can notice this issue in the dark scenes of the movies. is that a normal thing on IPS Panels? and can you guys live with it ?

PS: i changed the Brightness down to 20, and that GLOW is still noticeable at black backgrounds in the dark

Solution
That's not abnormal and you should be sitting directly in front if possible once your watching a movie if you keep looking for the glow you may see it so try to forget it's there.
With led backlighting there can be bleeding around the edges , normally it's not noticeable so if yours is very noticeable then you should contact the place you bought it from or the manufacturer as soon as possible.

I do think you notice the edges more with a black screen or very dark movie.

i notice the edges "only" with a black screen or very dark movie..its noticeable but not "Very" noticeable..i mean i can see it if i concentrate a little , so does it worth to contact the manufacturer because of that issue?

so its normal noticing these glows when watching a dark movie? can you use to it after time?

thank you, look its something like that, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoZLO7LwoBA
and when i move right or left the Glow become wider and cover all the dark screen..But sitting straight infront of the dark screen i only see the Glow on the corners. i don't have to stare at it when having a dark screen, it takes me couples of seconds to notice that there is a glow at the corners
