Ips glow or back light bleed?

Solution
Generally, if you have a back light bleed problem, it will not change as you move your head around the monitor when facing it. IPS glow however will. If you move to the left side of the screen, you will only see the glow on the left side for example if it is IPS glow (this is only for flat screen, not curved, so that complicates things a little). Also IPS glow is white whereas backlight bleed can be off-white in color (yellow or bluish tint depending on monitor).

Based on the yellowish tint if your pic is color accurate, I'd say you have backlight bleed. I would try for a replacement. Have you checked on ACER forums on how many others have backlight bleed problems with this monitor?

Also be careful if you have to RMA it direct to...

Also be careful if you have to RMA it direct to ACER instead of returning it to a store...sometimes you will get a refurb from the manufacturer instead of a brand new replacement (Dell is notorious for this).

Solution
Well returning it to the supplier and they will handle the rest. I got 30 days to decide with no given reason. Yeah i know there is alot of problems with this monitor but was really hoping for a 2016 model. This is a oct 2015 model. As for everything ells im very happy. The camera (Iphone 6) are making it worse than it really is did try to turn off the HDR but dident make much difference...

Thanks for answering much appreciated
