[SOLVED] IPS Glow suggestion

I've seen various posts on this topic and figured I would look for advice for this new monitor I purchased last week. I got the Acer Predator XB271HU and all seemed to be working very well for the first week with no annoying glow noticeable. I was playing GTAV last night and during the night cycle, I noticed very strong IPS Glow at the bottom right portion of the screen to the point where I couldn't identify objects that appeared in the area of the glow, as if a bright light was reflecting off the screen. If I slouch down to view the corner straight on, it's still mildly blurred. I've played some other darker games and not sure if this glow has been present for the first week, or if now that I noticed it, I can't unsee it and my peripheral vision is locked on.

Monitor brightness is set to 65 and the other 3 corners seem to be acceptable in terms of glow. What concerns me is, when I run my finger along the monitor, it is cool to the touch on all areas except for this bottom right corner, where it is quite warm. Being a first time IPS monitor owner, is this something I should be concerned about? Will this worsen over time?

Thankfully, I bought the monitor somewhat locally at the MicroCenter that's about a 45 minute drive, but it's still a bit inconvenient if I'm gonna have to be playing the lottery on these panels, or if it's even going to be worth it with this specific monitor. Looking for opinions, please and thank you.

I have an ASUS PG279Q which shares pretty much the same AU Optronics panel as yours. I also have some pretty bad bleed in the bottom right hand corner, id say mine is worse than that but hard to tell in a photo. It was likely always like that unless you dropped the monitor or caused some other physical damage. It shouldn't worsen over time, mine hasn't, had it for 3 years or so now. You can try to return it however no guarantee your replacement will be any better, could be worse. I was also very bothered by it at first but now I hardly notice it.

You can learn to accept it, keep playing the monitor lottery and hope you get a good one, or exchange it for another monitor. Not much else you can do.
