IPS LCD for Photo-Editing AND Gaming

I want to get the NEC MultiSync EA231WMI-BK monitor because it's the only 16:9 IPS Panel monitor I can find for a decent price. However, it has a 14ms Response Time. Is that good enough for gaming?? Or will I get ghosting?

Why 16:9? Is there something wrong with all of the 16:10 monitors available?

Well I just like 16:9 when watching movies. Just a personal preference. Aside from that, the only other IPS Panel Monitor I can afford is the Dell 2209WA but its not 16:9.

With that said, in your opinion, would a 14ms Response Time on the NEC IPS Panel Monitor cause problems with my gaming, such as ghosting?

It depends. Rated response time varies a lot, and because of that, it's impossible to say what the image quality of that monitor would be like in gaming. I'd personally go for the Dell, but that's just me.
