i am looking for a good IPS monitor within reasonable price.

i have samsung 27" s27d390h and i want a bigger monitor.

i have gtx 980ti. i play mostly gta online but other games are played too. got g27 wheel aswell. so if its a ultrawide ill buy , il use the g27 wheel more often than now, more immersive with ultrawide i believe.

please help fast. need to decide soon as possbile.

itll be for editing and gaming and whatever else multitasking.

my thoughts were on http://www.scan.co.uk/products/34-aoc-u3477pqu-monitor-ips-panel-3440x1440-60hz-5ms-320cd-m-speakers-dp-hdmi-dvi-d-sub-4x-usb-30-bl

but this monitor is the same height as my 27" samsung. so i dont know right now. maybe i can afford a proper 34" ips panel ? would be insanely good. (or not?)

Hi Tomashen,

I think you are looking for something high end. I have gone through many screens and also have a 980ti G1.
I think the curved screens are actually necessary over 32" and you wont regret it believe me.

The best current screen is the https://pcmonitors.info/acer/acer-xr341ck-and-x34-75hz-and-100hz-curved-ips-models/
It can even go 100hz which is brilliant for such a big curved panel. It is also IPS. The 100Hz version also comes with Gsync, but it will be very pricey. But that is the best. I would not go for 60hz IPS panels for games.

Having said this, I had a QNIX 27" IPS 1440p screen for 2 years and recently swapped off for a acer xg270hu native 144hz monitor which seems to be a lot sharper and I got it at a real bargain and I am real happy with it.

The 980ti is a beast of a card and 60Hz is history for me. I cannot over emphasize how much better gaming is on a 100Hz+ screen, I would either wait a bit or go for broke if I were you.
If you are not to fussed about that (yet), then go for the cheaper 34-aoc-u3477pqu-monitor

ok so the predator 34" is just wayyy too much to spend on a monitor.

so now my TWO choices are,

BenQ BL3200PT
and
AOC U3477PQU

which one would be better for the following
Gaming
Movies/Media in general
Scripting(not much)
web browsing
Gaming

both monitors are capable of good overclocks i heard.
