Hello everyone! I was at my desk when I accidentally scratched my IPS Panel (an LG 27MP33) with a fiberglass golf alignment rod. Do not ask how. It was a bad accident and the rod is now out of my room. But it is a very light scratch and it is very small. I am very worried because I hate scratches on anything. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? It is super light and not that big at all. But I am pissed at myself for doing it. Thanks.

The pink pencil eraser trick is basically polishing: pink erasers are lightly abrasive, so you are effectively sanding the scratch off.

Depending on how the surface finish reacts to the scrubbing though, you may end up converting a light scratch into a blotch. You may want to test for this near an edge or corner where it might not be too distracting before trying it on the scratch itself.
Idk there is a neat trick where you can rub straight down the scratch multiple times with a regular pencil eraser to get rid of it (don't press too hard or you can guess what'll happen). Didn't work on my monitor but the scratch wasn't exactly "light"... If it was a very minor scratch some rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth might remove some visual evidence of it.
