IPS/PLS vs TN - Gaming

I need advice. I am planning to buy a new monitor. I will play all kind of games except RPG games.
I have heard a lot of rumors about IPS and TN panels. Everybody says that IPS has more beautiful picture and i should buy IPS/PLS display ?

I want to hear your story guys.

It depends FAR more on the specific monitor rather than IPS vs TN.
I have TN panels that give a much better picture than IPS panels I have.

I have TN panels that give a much better picture than IPS panels I have.

Samsung S24D590PL
ASUS PG279Q

and for TN panels:
BENQ RL2455HM
