Viewsonic XG2703-GS NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS 165Hz WQHD 2560x1440

MSI OPTIX MAG27CQ 27" WQHD 144Hz FreeSync Curved Gaming Monitor

The difference is that the Viewsonic has IPS and G-Sync, but costs $350 more...
Is it worth to spend the extra for it or not? I keep hearing people have issues with IPS due to Glow BLB, etc so I'm extremely stuck on what to do atm.
Any advice will help, thanks.
BTW I have a GTX 1080.

Va is a decent compromise between tn & ips.

You get excellent contrast & blacks (better than tn,worse than ips) & screen response times firmly in the middle.

G-sync is expensive , simplle as that, while consumers are willing to keep paying the extra those prices will never go down.

I personally would not pay $200-300 extra for gsync
IPS over VA is generally worth it, but G-Sync is an expensive option, and that's up to you. personally, I prefer IPS monitors, but would get one without G-sync.

Consider also the Asus - MG279Q 27" (IPS, no G-Sync). Pretty pricey too, but gets good reviews.

IPS screens have more back lighting than TN panels, but better colours and viewing angles. If you play a lot of dark games in dark rooms, IPS glare will happen.
