[SOLVED] Ipv4 connected to internet but internet still doesn't work

I use an ethernet to connect to a wireless wifi extender and computer shows ethernet is connected and that I am connected to the internet and still can not do anything internet related. I've done the cmd prompts on youtube and checked firewall settings to no avail. I have no idea why this is happening

so you have an ip address? what the dns server?

Yes I do and the DNS is
DNS: 192.168.1.1

DNS should be something different than your router.

Try 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4 for DNS.
Gateway should be 192.168.1.1
Your IP address should be different than the gateway on the last number, like 192.168.1.x, but x is a number between 2 and 255.
