Ipv6 temporary address question

Greetings everyone! Yesterday I noticed something and I decided to ask here to clear things out. So I got into some websites in order to see what my IpV6 is. I then reboot my PC and then got into the same site and the Ipv6 was different. I did some research in my control panel and find out that this is something called "Temporary Ipv6 Address". It changes every time I reboot.Above that,was something called "Ipv6 Address" which stays the same even after reboot. Is this normal? I have Windows 7 x64 Enterprise if it matters.I don't reboot my router in the meantime it just happens with the PC reboot. Is it normal for this "temporary Ipv6 address" to change at every reboot?Should I get worried?Thanks in advance!

Yes, this is normal. Actually, if you can have multiple temporary addresses at one time. They are used to provide some anonymity on the internet. Interestingly enough, to disable this feature you set a privacy setting to disable (netsh interface ipv6 set privacy state=disabled).

Hello anotherdrew thanks for the quick reply! I won't disable it, I was just wondering if it was normal. I believe that's not the case with Ipv4 right?Because I don't see it changing.
 
Your correct. IPv4 does not have the same feature. But, in IPv4 the majority of residential customers are behind a router that does NAT (network address translation) and creates anonymity. When they created IPv6 they wanted to stay away from NAT because they believe it breaks the internet (you ever wonder who "they" are ... I do), so they created this multiple address scheme.
