Im planning to buy a broadwell i5 5675c, the one with iris pro 6200...im not sure whether i need to buy a discrete graphics card.
In the benchmarks iris pro is significantly better than low end discrete cards...

Solution
With the price difference between an i5-6600k and an i5-5675c, you can afford to buy something like a 2GB GDDR5 R7-250X which will at least match Iris Pro. Spend a little more for a 750Ti and you pull ahead a fair bit.
It is totally dependent upon what you need to do with your PC.

Here is a GPU hierarchy chart from Tom's : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html

You'll find the Iris Pro 6200 on par with the GeForce 9800 GX2, 285, 460 256-bit, 465 ; AMD HD 6850, 7770, R7 260, R7 360

Any card in the higher categories will give you better performance, but depending on what you want to do with your PC they may not be necessary. For gaming I recommend looking at a discrete card.
