Iris Pro graphics on i7 Broadwell

If you are using a dedicated video card, will there be any benefit to having Iris Pro graphics on an i7 Broadwell for desktop?

/e I'm thinking about getting the Xeon version seeing as how I don't want to overclock and I have no need for the integrated graphics if it doesn't offer any benefit

No, there is no benefit to having an IGP if you're using dedicated graphics. Go for the Xeon, I ditched an FX-8320 for a Xeon E3-1230v3 this month and I LOVE it--so much faster than my 8320 even at 4.8GHz.
