Question Iris Pro vs Quadro for gaming

Sep 2, 2019
I recently bought a used Dell Precision 7520 workstation laptop for 3D CAD and programming at my university. It comes with a Intel Xeon E3-1545M v5 CPU, 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a Quadro M2200 4 GB GPU. After a long day of sketching in SolidWorks i love to play some CSGO, but the Quadro GPU doesn't seem to handle it very well. I play on low settings 1080p, and tried even 1280x720 res, which gives me about 60-70 fps no matter what, but the FPS-drop is huge as soon as i do something fast or a grenade hits me in the face.

I have updated every driver i possibly can, and tuned off "Switchable Graphics" in the BIOS. I have watched plenty optimization videos, turned to high performance and tweaked the Nvidia control panel settings, but none seem to work.

Now i searched around and found gameplay on youtube with people pulling up to 100 fps with medium/high setting on the CPU-integrated Iris P580 graphics. Do you think in this case the P580 would be better suited for CSGO?
