So, first, here is my build.
ASRock Extreme4 Z77 Board
Intel i5 3570k
Noctua NH-D14 cooler
Gigabyte GTX670OC
G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2x4)
Patriot Pyro SE 120GB SSD
Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black Hard drive
PC Power and Cooling 950W power supply
Some random DVD drive (sorry haha)
Running Windows 7 Home 64bit
I just recently wiped and reformatted my WD drive and reinstalled Windows. Wiped using CCleaner, then reformatted. Now, I have a problem with my WD hard drive. Whenever I start up Windows, the Intel Rapid Store Technology tells me the drive is at risk, and to reset it to normal. I do this, and that is fine. However, some times when I start up my computer, it takes about thirty minutes to isolate and remove "bad clusters" on the drive. So obviously something went wrong, and I am not knowledgeable enough to figure out. Any help everyone?
