Hi,
I am looking for some help with an IRST error.
I was running Windows 8.1 Pro with a 250 GB Samsung HDD, 2 x 1 TB Samsung HDDs in RAID1 mirror using software (windows). All was good.
I installed windows 10 to try it out but then decided to drop back to Windows 8.1 and did a clean install. I setup my software RAID1 on the 2 Seagate drives again, but for some unknown reason they kept synching all the time and slowing the PC down. So I did a hardware RAID1 in the motherboard BIOS and that alleviated that constant synching issue.
Now IRST constantly gives me an error. On the right of the screen of IRST it shows my SSD, 500 GB HDD and the CD/DVD drive. It does not show the 2 Seagate HDDs in RAID1.
I ran crystal disk. Things look OK. It shows all the drives, but it does not show the drive letter for the RAID1 array which on my computer is drive K:
Does anybody know what is going on here? Is there an error at all?
My motherboard is an ASUS Z-87 Pro and my processor is an i7-4790K.
