Is 1 Output device playing 2 Inputs possible

Hello!

No hardware issues here(except my motherboard but i know about that problem lol)

Just a general question but is it possible to plug 2 audio devices into 1 output device?

Ex: A PC and a Phone(i want to use a chromecast audio it just plugs into the aux and is controlled from your phone through bluetooth) plugged into a set of 5.1 speakers connected with a splitter or something. Im just not sure it will work which is why im here!

It will totally work.
You run into issue if you try and actually play both at the same time, but it totally works.

Just a 3.5mm splitter.
