Im getting myself the gtx 1050ti stormx 4gb and im kinda worried.
1st question:Is it a good combo for my i5 4690? is there somekind of balance or will i fall into a battleneck?
2nd question:the gpu has only one fan will it increase temps ?
3rd question: do all nvidia 1000 series gpus have boost?
last question:is the card better or worse than an r9 380? and also i have a 7850 1gb will i see a decent difference in performance?
Thank you in advance guys im just really curious any help is appreciated :)

To answer your first question, its an alright combo, though a more common combo would be an RX 480 or GTX 1060 with your processor. Don't worry, there will be no bottleneck. Usually cards with more than 1 fan have slightly better temps and offer better overclocking. What do you mean by do all Nvidia 1000 cards have boost? What boost are you talking about? The R9 380 is a better performing card than the GTX 1050 TI but it also require more power. Yes, you will see a good increase in performance from a 7850 to 1050 ti. There are better versions of the 1050 ti however this one isn't bad.

If you want my personnel recommendation, i would not get a 1050 ti, the RX 470 is hands down much better and for only $10-$15 more.

PCPartPicker part...

It is like 40% faster than your 7850.

That said, i would NOT buy a 1050 TI, under any circumstance, for any build regardless of use.

When you can get an RX 480 for the same price - it just doesn't make sense.

Even if you don't like Powercolor, there are CONSTANTLY sales with one manufacturer almost always having a RX 480 at the $150 price range.

The RX 480 is around 150% faster than your 7850 - WAY better than a 1050TI.

Do not buy a 1050 TI for gaming, or any other use.

The RX 480 is DRAMATICALLY more powerful for the money.

Admirable
1) No, that i5, even tho it's kinda old it's still powerful
2) It will have a higher temp then a version with two or more coolers, it will be louder as well, probably. It will work perfectly tho.
3) If you mean the automatic overclock, yes they do.
4) It's worse in terms of raw performance. But it's better than the 7850 by a fair amount.

If i may say so, if you wish a very noticeable boost and still don't pay much, i'd suggest going GTX 1060 3GB or RX 480 4GB. The 1050Ti is good card for work or light gaming @1080p, for any heavier task both mentioned above is the best option.

I have a BAD psu the coolermaster b500 ver2 so even if i want to get a 1060 or rx 480 i cant because its too risky and if i change the psu it will affect my budget too much unless the 1060 doesnt consume more than 130 watts because i had a 960 before super oced and run like a champ for days untill i sold it.

Both of those cards are far more expensive than a 1050ti. Mail in rebates are a gamble, at best. The GTX 1050ti is a great card for the money. The RX 470 is the next best card, but often priced too close to the RX 480, to consider one.

yes ... 750 ti is not upgrade for 1050 ti - accepted
I live in India - I get cards from amazon.in, (Currently using 970, was using 750Ti before)
From the post I saw he is getting 1050 Ti, in my country 1050 costs 1.5 times to the 750 Ti and 1050ti performs only 10-20% better than 750 Ti, also 750 Ti - 60W, 1050Ti - 75W. Based on price/perf I have told 750 ti is better
